2019

This was our fourth year living in Chilliwack. This was a year with lots of guests! Our family came to visit from China and more locally -- Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver -- to inter the ashes of Dani’s mother and father. They rest in a beautiful location. Like many visitors to Canada, family members wanted to see Banff, but I know that the highway from Jasper to Saskatchewan Crossing is even better, so I drove the scenic route to Banff. It was a very good year. We remain in good health and look forward to a promising future. pHYd

The background photo is of a mushroom known, I believe, as Angel of Death. These grow in our yard. There was a warning in the news this year of a rise in the number of people poisoned by mushrooms. If I have identified this one correctly, it’s one which will kill you if you eat it.
