Preston and YaoDan: 2017
Dani’s brother visited from China. Here he is inspecting the
house we bought on behalf of him and the family. It’s a nice
place!
Interesting story: While Dani and I were taking photographs
in Vancouver, I noticed a man rolling backwards in a
wheelchair, and though it appeared he might run into an
older woman -- walking in the same direction -- I failed to
intervene. Here you can see the blood she left on the
sidewalk as a result of her injuries.

We were in Vancouver to take Siyao for a job interview.
After dropping him off, Dani and I were both desperate
to find a bathroom. I parked under a random hotel and it
was only later we discovered we had taken advantage
of the facilities at Trump Hotel.
Siyao got the job!
Our summer was quiet; we had guests, and Dani spent
some extra time with her family. As a result, fewer
adventures than last year.
