Preston and YaoDan: 2018

This was our third year living in Chilliwack. It was a quiet year. We had another short-term guest, and we sold the house we had purchased on behalf of Dani’s family. We were fortunate to enjoy the company of the engaging YaoYao who lived with us again this year. She’s a source of Sunshine and help with plants, shopping and especially when language becomes a barrier; she has good English skills and kind heart. Siyao went to Machu Picchu! It was a very good year. We remain in good health and look forward to a promising future. pHYd

Here is a photo of Dani gathering ‘street fruit’ in January. I’m not sure what these are, but she enjoyed cooking them and eating them.
