What is that symbol?
Yes! Dani passed her test and is
learning to drive the family hot rod.
BC has a graduated licensing
program, like most provinces, but
I’ve been infuriated by one of the
laws that apply to a “L” license.
She’s allowed to drive only between
midnight and 5:00 AM. These
hours, in my not-so-humble
opinion, represent the ideal time to
practice driving in the city.
She’s allowed to
drive at 11:30PM on a
Saturday night as
parties and bars are
exchanging participants,
she’s allowed to drive
east as the sun sits on
the horizon, but an
empty city is apparently too hazardous. I have noticed that the “L” is a
great way to find drivers who want to test their horn. Turns out: there’s a
lot of those guys.
Dani has made good progress and handled my slalom course in
reverse quite well!
What people are saying about Dani’s Driving:
“Heeelp! Stooooop! I want my
mommyyy!”
“Wow. You have a truely
remarkable teacher helping
you. He’s super smart and calm.
Pretty good looking, too.”
“Honk honk! Beeeep beeeeeep!
Get off the road, Lady!!”
